Honoring the two hundredth anniversary of the birth of Henry David Thoreau, editors Kristen Case and K.P. Van Anglen will be joined by contributors Len Gougeon and Susan Gallagher for an evening of presentations and lively discussion. The essays in this forthcoming volume represent the latest and best work of seventeen established and emerging Thoreau scholars. Using an interdisciplinary approach, they address a wide variety of topics under the broad headings of Thoreau in contexts with local and global, as well as Thoreauvian Materialism and Thoreau’s perspective on the Cosmos.

Light refreshments will be served.

A limited number of copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.
